For the last two years, the Escalera after-school program has operated in seven cities nationwide, providing valuable career and academic preparation for Latino youth. The results include an increased number of highly skilled and educated Latino youth who can fill the future talent pipeline. With extremely high success rate, most of the Escalera students graduate from high school and enroll in post-secondary institutions.

NCLR needed to distribute a program report which provided an evaluation of the program. The design needed to be full-color using the NCLR color palette and brand guide and reflect high energy, but with a business feel. The final report was 50 pages + covers.

Formerly the Latino Expo, the National Latino Family Expo is an annual event with a “Disneyland” feel of separate pavilions for topics such as health, technology and community, to help guide people through the expo. The name of the event was changed to better communicate the family-oriented nature of the expo. This family event promotes a wide variety of consumer products and services in a fun, entertaining and educational atmosphere.

NCLR needed a look and brand guide developed for this event that could be used across several marketing materials.  Marketing materials to be developed included an event logo, web banners, ads (various sizes), flyers, and posters, all to be included in the brand guide for refernce. The design for the San Antonio, Texas event needed to communicate the energy and style of the city.

A innovative design agency was needed to develop marketing materials to launch a national foreclosure prevention campaign, dubbed Bringing Hope Home: Preventing Foreclosure. Hope Now partnered with the Homeownership Preservation Foundation and Fannie Mae on this innovative consumer outreach campaign and they requested a design that effectively conveyed key messages involving home foreclosure and prevention. The design would need to easily translate onto various marketing materials used for a series of events, which included a bus tour with community rallies, town hall meetings, a celebrity-narrated 30-minute video, phone-a-thon, celebrity-recorded telephone blasts, and a two-day public outreach event.

Working with SW Creatives was effortless. Their professionalism, coupled with their creative flare, put us at ease and helped us to focus on other matters related to the campaign. After a short meeting to assess our needs and desires they quickly got to work on the project. They understood the gravity of what we were trying to accomplish through our national campaign: to help people stay in their homes and make more homeowners aware that assistance is available when times get tough and they‚ or unable to pay their mortgage. The design they created -- with its vivid graphics and use of color -- communicated a message of inspiration, hope and energy, which is exactly what we want people to feel when they see the tour bus or read one of our brochures. HOPE NOW is excited about the finished products and we look forward to working with SW Creatives in the future.
