Tropicana OrangeWhen we think of oranges we instantly think of the fruit. You think of farmers or Tropicana Orange Juice and when that thought goes, the color of orange becomes your next association to the word orange. The orange is a very old fruit that dates back to 500 B.C. It originated near the South China Sea and traveled throughout Malaysia, India, East Africa and into the Mediterranean regions, as well as Europe. Oranges were know as the fruit of the gods and only the wealthy and aristocrats were privileged to the fruit. This is part of the reason why oranges are seen in a lot of Renaissance paintings.

Red. The color red evokes a range of feelings from love to hate.  Red is the attention getter. It’s bold, strong and demands a response. It causes us to fight or flee. It can represent blood and life as well as death. It is associated with war, energy, danger, strength and much more. It can be mouthwatering as in strawberries, apples or cherries. Browser Safe Fonts

A common "huh?" moment that we come across when working with clients unfamiliar with the rules of website design is that you can't have any font you want on a website. Why? Because the website code for fonts depends on the fonts that are available on the computer being used. For instance, we have several specialty fonts on our computer systems and we could reference it in the code as the font to use and see if just fine on the web from our systems. However, when someone else pulls up the same website using a different computer that doesn't have that font, the computer will replace the font with a default font, which is often something like Times New Roman or Arial.
